Well folks, I hope I gave the correct thread title, I agree with the importance of the correct title so people don't waste time trying to find information needed. What I did want to write about is to say that I repotted the Phal Amabilis that I bought a week ago. I felt I had to trim the roots because some of the roots were obiviously dead. I soaked the plant in warm water for a few minutes, took the old medium off the roots then repotted in a med. bark mix. I then ran water through the pot to rehydrate the mix to help the plant get established.
My biggest question is how long after a phal has been repotted do you know whether the plant will live or not? If it makes it to next Friday, (so about a week), could that mean it will live? Should I water the plant more frequently for the next few days to help the plant aclimatize to its new environment?
Thanks guys, m
