The stuff I use is Keiki Grow Plus (Plant Hormones). It's totally crack for orchids. I have spikes w/keiki on them, multiple keiki, AWESOME to watch. I take a peek at them daily and when I am away, co workers make sure the light is on for them in the day and the soft lamp at night. NO WINDOW NO SUN. My chids are office babies and they thrive in fluorescent light.
Here is the link to the paste I buy.

Amazon.com: keiki paste
GOOD GROWING AND GOOD LUCK!!

Hi fanzeoo,
Just my
I have just noticed that your plant seems 'buried' under the sphag it is potted in?
I suggest you pull it out & have some of the plant 'out' the medium. Your spike is comming straight out of the sphag (which I don't believe is good for it)

OMG! I think you had better sleep with a baseball bat by the bed.........it might be a meat eater!

I've used Keiki Pro on some of my noids and they are spiking like there's no tomorrow. They tend to branch a lot too. They are also putting out new leaves and roots.

I kinda like your little mutant, looks like it landed from outer space!

As I'm in Australia I got my Keiki Pro from Ebay. The actually manufacturers sell it on there. It cost me $25 plus $5.00 postage from US to Oz. It's a tiny bottle but you only use a tiny drop and it's lasted me months so far and still well over half full.
