Default Pitiful bellina

I ordered a Phal bellina from Norman's, which I had shipped to my work address. The box was not marked Live Plants and the guy in shipping /receiving reached in the box and ripped off and ripped the leaves.
Do you think she'll make it?

Awww poor little guy!

I hope you kicked that guy in your shipping department
I think your little plant will be alright. The roots look more or less ok and if you treat the wounds on the leaves with something for possible infection it should live. Granted it probably won't be nice to look at for a while. If you give it time and good TLC then when new leaves come in you can cut off the ugly ones

Well, that certainly sucks...but I wouldn't worry about it. As long as the roots are fine, the plant will make it. The leaves should be treated to a little TLC to ensure that they stay healthy until you get new ones and can get rid of these.

Awe man, that's a shame. But as already mentioned, she'll grow out of it

Awwww...feel so bad and flashes of what would happen if I had that happen to me . You'll be rewarded some gorgeous blooms, well deserved with the TLC given...

Phals can take some major leaf damage, it should be ok in a few years. Hopefully, not decades, I don't know how long it takes to recover.
