I actually can't fit this plant on the sill any longer because of the spikes, but have it set on top of a container just next to the sill.

Thanks David - there's actually two the same in one pot - one plant has 2 spikes, the other 4 - but even 4 on one plant seems crazy to me! It probably would have had 2 spikes, had I not broke one while it was small.
