Thanks David - there's actually two the same in one pot - one plant has 2 spikes, the other 4 - but even 4 on one plant seems crazy to me! It probably would have had 2 spikes, had I not broke one while it was small.

well - I wouldn't advise breaking spikes, but am pretty sure thats how I got so many ...
