Default Me too

My sunflower also arrived today, well packed and in good condition. I got the 4" pot. 6 healthy leaves (although a scratch across the width of one of the lower leaves) and a 3/4 inch new root sprouting, plus a new baby leaf. Spagnum was pretty moist. In light of your experience, I'll have to pull it out of the pot later, when I have time, and check the roots. Those I can see near the surface look healthy.

I wouldn't worry too much about the roots, though its always nice to know of your health. The roots really aren't bad at all and like I said, those that were in fair condition were even growing new branches. Looks like a great plant! I can't wait for it to bloom this season.
