Hello! I got a phalaenopsis orchid since March and it's still blooming since then. The other spike already finished blooming about two weeks ago and i cut the spike above the node like i saw on the internet and right after that the spike started whilting and turning black. Also the leaves started turning around What's wrong with it? Can you please tell me what to do?
Spikes don't always produce sidespikes when they're cut above a node. If a spike is done, it's done, and there's nothing you can do that will keep it green and growing. So the yellow/brown color it's getting is normal. You can cut it off at the base now, it won't do anything more.
As for the leaves, they look fine to me, I don't see what you mean by them 'turning around'

Thank you for your answers! About the leaves, if you see the second photo you can can see one-two leaves turning around little bit, and seem like they create a letter C probably..i really dont know if its normal or not thats why im asking. Thanks again!
i see it now, doesnt look out if the ordinary, just like its pressed up against the spike. could you just move the leaf a bit, that would only be for your viewing pleasure though, it is fine the way it is though.
It could be that the stakes are getting in the way. Or maybe the plant only has a little light hitting it from one direction so the leaves are turning towards it. Or the plant is just a freak of nature.
