I cannot say for sure as I've only had an equestris hybrid for a few months, but mine has stayed quite small! In fact, all of my minis stay on the small side and have multi spikes that branch a lot. So chances are, this guy will not give you problems staying in the enclosure.

Chas now that I looked at it again, it makes sense that its a Sogo... Sogo Vivien is used a lot (a hybrid itself) and it is stunning-- so I'm not sure my assessment of which species is influencing this one is right. However, I have several Sogo vivien spin-offs and they remain quite small.

Well that's some good news! I love the smaller flowers of this plant. They seem so delicate.
