While I prefer the shape on 'Pink Butterfly', I would try to get one that has a fragrance. Granted as Terri just posted it is a crap shoot in getting one. These start blooming on small plants. I picked up a 2'" pot size of 'Pink Butterfly' a few years ago which was in spike at the time and blooms faithfully every winter. But with out any fragrance, I feel that I am missing something.

OOOOH! I love that Izzie! Thanks for the link! I may have to get that AND a schill!

Sue... I only have a couple fragrant orchids, a cymbidium-smells like roses and a Twinkle, which doesn't feel that great I will hope for the best that I can get one of these to smell yummy

Terri... I would love for an orchid to get big... I have lots of room, and could think of nothing better to fill it with

Or get crosses of schilleriana and stuartiana from Orchids Limited! My dream phal. and their stuartiana is spectacular as well.

Both species are rewarding and easy growers- and very floriferous- and awesome mottled leaves!

OH MY Izzie... that last link.... that is now my dream orchid too. How lovely and long and full is that flower spike! WOW oh WOW!

Mine was a seedling, so no name unless I give her one . I have had her for awhile and can't remember who I got her from. It was from a show and I think the vendor is not in business any more . But here's her picture. She doesn't have a lot of flowers, but she grows big flowers about 8 cm NS.
