Default some phals

Here is Phal Yu Pin Pearl. It is blooming on a old spike that sent a few branches. I should see better blooms on a new spike in the summer I hope. This is a typical harlequin.

Here is a pink in bloom. It usually blooms much larger. Must be the cloudy winter days. It's Phal Sweet Melody 'Sato' SM/JOGA x Abendrot 'Ponkan's Fantastic' AM/AOS. I don't think it is registered yet

Wow! I'm not a hybrid fan but this one I would buy, for sure! Unfortunately I've seen only plain color hybrid Phals in brazilian shows and orchid nurseries. I think these 'harlequin' aren't 'fashion' here in Brazil yet!

Harlequin is fairly new. i'm not sure when they first came out. does anyone know?

It's quite wild now, I am seeing many photos of new patterns too from imported plant from Asia! All sorts of new colours that are amazing. These newer ones aren't offered in Canada yet either.

My mom got this one from the gorcery store...they aren't that common so my mom went crazy

It's amazing how 2 phals can look so different. Both have lovely flowers

Great looking harlequin. I have a harlequin but the bloody thing keeps dropping the buds while they are still small. I'm getting ready to toss it!

Hmmm.... May be something wrong with photobucket site today? I don't see any picture hosted there.
