Thanks, I was just lucky, cos I bought most of them in spike and they turned out to be quite good plants when they bloomed... This is why I prefer getting hybrids over clones... It's always a mystery and that's the fun part..

Thanks for all the comments...

Over here in sg, most of us grow hybrids more than clones, and I for one do not really like getting mericloned plants cos there's no surprise factor involved. I usually get my plants when they first spike and grow them to their first bloom.. It's always exciting to see your hard work pay off and also kinda like a test of luck.. I've been lucky so far though...

The Jessie Ang was a gift from my teacher. I saw the plant grow from around a 3 inch leafspan to it's first spike and bloom... That plant's going on to it's second spike now...


PS: My Phal Orchid World is a clone... The price was too good to miss, so of course I had to grab it..
