This is the label on the pot Spot Polka Dots.

I really like harlequin phals, a lot, but none of the 3 I have ever bloomed again. So, I've bought another one

Not sure why you can't rebloom, because they aren't any different than other phals... This is a very nice harlequin...

Gorgeous harlequin. As Doc says they should rebloom like any other. Having said that none of my Phals are spiking this year and I'm not sure what I'm doing to last winter.

Just a follow-up to Rosie's comment.... while I've got lots of spikes and many that have opened, I am finding less flowers and small sized flowers this year. Wonder if the cool summer and not too much sun has anything to do with this??????

Same here. In fact one of my harliquins has a single blossom. It's a rather nice blossom but only one...........

Nice harlequin! I have a pretty much identical one that was given to me by an aunt after it finished blooming. I didn't have any trouble reblooming it. Try increasing the light a bit. If you're reblooming other phals but not these, that might help. But I did notice that mine is not a winter bloomer like the others. It sets spikes in March-April, and blooms early summer.

I'll give this one more light to see if it helps. It's my favorite hybrid.

Your harlequin is indeed similar to mine, Camille. I think many like this kind of spots... like drops of paint.
