Interesting to note, this Phal has another spike emerging opposite to the first spike that has already bloomed,is this normal?

Wow I love this phal... I really love the white lip instead of the typical darker colored lip one would expect in a phal. Just incredible! Take good care of it (like you already are!) because this is one gorgeous plant. I would love to add it to my collection....I'm so jealous!

As for the second spike-- sure, a phal can have more than one spike. They do so only when the plant is really healthy and being taken care of well. Congrats!!

Ryan, if you like this one you should look for Phal. Hilo Lip. It looks a bit like a shill but with a very white lip.

Thanks Terri! I managed to find a seller online and hopefully can make arrangements with them to hold the plant until it is safe to ships. Its entirely too cold here in Colorado lately.
