This is Brother Golden Potential x Brother Sara Gold. Last spring I received it free from a supermarket because it was near dead and they were going to toss it - that was just not acceptable to me

The barring is a bit muted and muddled, maybe that's why it didn't make it to name status - but it's a very cheery yellow, perfect for spring!

What a good save! I always feel the same way about orchids I see, nothing is too dead, nothing that isn't worth a shot at saving.

And when they come back from the near grave I always feel like dancing!

Orchid Doctor Sarah, excellent job. Right place at the right time. I hate it when you see these chids that are so apt to be disposed of....our vendor does an even exchange and I asked him what they do with the orchids when they get back to the greenhouse.."they just throw them away" I tried so hard to get him to pass them off on to me and would love to bring them back as well as give them to a perfectly wanting home...but it's against policy, what we take back we exchange, numbers have to match. You did a great job Sarah...congrats...
