My poor Mini Mark wasn't happy, it had lost most of it's leaves (down to 3) and root growth just wasn't happening.

I put it in Passive Hydroponics and gave it a good spray of KeikiPro.
I sprayed the base of the stem, where new roots had the best chance of growing.
Instead of roots, I got Keiki's!!!

7-29-09

Four keiki's appear!

8-23-09

Growing.........and keiki #5 appears!

9-08-09

9-20-09

10-21-09

Doing well and leaf #3 appears on largest Keiki

Not much change since this picture, just slowly growing.

Well, Al I guess this is definitely a success story for you! Good for you because you saved a beautiful plant and will lots of new guys hanging around your home next summer. What a show plant this will become!!!!! And look at those meaty roots... WOW!!!! My question for you is: Did you spray your plant periodically or just once?

Just once Doc. I was hoping to stimulate root growth. It could still have better roots but they are coming along. It's also growing new leaves on the main plant. This is a mighty busy plant.

Al

Thank G-d for that... or else you'd have no plant. Roots or keikis you did a great job! But did you have to apply the "grow juice" multiple times or just once?

Some of these already have new homes waiting but when I'm done separating and adopting them out, I definitely intend to share some of these, aries. It'll be around springtime. Stay tuned!

Your fellow Aries,
Sandy
