Default Look what greated me home!

I've been away for a few days and I was so pleased to see several of my Phals had opened up more flowers to great me when I got back.

All my 'chids seem to have done OK for a week without me, although the Miltoniopsis was showing signs of lack of water with shrivelled psudo bulbs, floppy leaves and the flowers, while still there, have all drooped (it was the one I had been worried about leaving). After some water the leaves have perked up on that so I hope there is no long term harm done

Anyway, here are the pics of my current flowers, all NoID phals (larger pics if you click on the thumbnails).

This is a side spike on one whose main spike had been snapped off before I bought it.

The main spike on this one just has one bud left to open and one of the side spikes has just started to open (down in the lower right of the pic).

The flower on the right/at the front (along with the buds visible near it) is on a completely seperate spike to the rest of the flowers. This is the Phal which struck me most as I walked in the door.

This one now is fully open with four flowers on each side and I really love the colour.

Your blooms are just beautiful. You're Phals have done a spectacular job of welcoming you home.

Nice growing, Rosie, and what a lovely greeting - they obviously enjoy your conditions.

Isn't it funny how they wait until we go away for the weekend to open? 3 of my different project plants opened for me on Saturday while I was gone.

Yours are looking lovely. Obviously they are doing very well under your care. Great growing!

Thanks everyone.

Terri, as I left I thought "typical they will be flowering while I'm away", so I was really pleased to see them all looking so great when I got back

Hi Rosie, They look great! The last two are my favorite coloration for Phals. Something about the pure white petals and dark lip just grabs me. Thanks !!
