haha.. I hadn't even noticed it. I agree. I think its cute. I wish I had staked these spikes better when they were growing. I didn't think it would do all this. This is the third time this plant has bloomed this year. I really wasn't expecting this.

They usually come to Redlands in Florida and Santa Barbara, but didn't come this year. I don't know about next year.
Big Leaf Orchids has one of these for sale right now. Kinda of expensive for a small stem, but its worth it in my opinion and a full size plant will cost over twice as much. I find these to be fairly vigorous, but like any small Phal, you have to give it lots of TLC until it gets some good growth on it.

That really is beautiful Ben. Very nice growing. It obviously likes it's growing conditions.  Sure wish this one would fit in my budget.
