Default Large Phal. Lava Glow with many leaves

This was givin to me yesterday by my wifes aunt who recieved from her brother that just passed. No one knew how to take care of his orchids. I inherited 7 large specimin size plants this being one of them.
This is the first time I have seen a phal with so many leaves and roots. I know it needs to be repotted but do I do anything different or repot as ussual?
Some pics of plant.

What a fantastic phal, just treat it as usual and post pictures when it blooms!
