Hi....Carol, and welcome to the OB. I bought this plant from Hausermann in Feb. 09. at a show in Madison Wi.
It had 1 spike then it now has 3 spikes w/branching more then 20 flowers. Be cause it had a spike I didn't put it in my grow area under lights I put it my display window which is east facing here's a pic of it in our kitchen. The pics in the post are only 2 weeks old. Wow! Jim, that's amazing! If you don't mind, I do have a couple of questions... Do you feed yours regularly? If so, what do you use? Also, what medium did your orchid come in? Did you keep it in it? Mine came in a dense, spongy moss medium which is just soggy. After some advice from others, I will repot into semi-hydroponics after the flowering ends and new roots just start to show. I want to get it out of that soggy mess.
You have a beautiful group there. I hope to be able to come even close to it one day. Thanks so much for the picture and information. Very inspiring!

Hey Carol.... Yes my plant is still in that moss, I'll repot into CHC when it's done blooming, because of the moss I don't water it as often as my other plants, but when I do water I fert. with MSU fert. and like it alot. I'm here if you need more help....... Jim.

Thanks for the information, Jim. I'm glad I was not totally off base with the medium. You've been a really big help already. If I have any more questions, I'll definitely ask. Enjoy your beauties! When I get a camera (which should be soon), I'll try to post a picture of my little one so you can see it. Hopefully, it will still be doing well by then.
