Keiki paste is a plant hormone that when applied to a flower node on the spike should grow a keiki. Sometimes, you get a new spike rather than a keiki

Oh wow! that's super cool. sounds like a crap shoot though re: what you wind up with.....A Keiki or a new shoot. I guess you can't go wrong with either though! Thanks for the info.

Yes and No .... you have to be selective when you apply the paste.... too soon after the flowers open and you'll get a spike. I've just completed some new applications of the paste on plants I want to "clone" but I'm away for awhile. when I return I will post pics of how it's done
