It's Over
I don't know about others who gather here to share their chids, but for me in my location, the phal season seems to be coming to and end.... this is about the only flower that looks good in the GH.... a soft pastel orange...

But what a beauty Doc!
I enjoy growth from leaves and roots too, so for me this season is also very joyful. I make a dance every time a see a new root, drops of happy sap etc. OK, maybe I'm nuts but I considder roots from for instance Phalaenopis and Vanda as beautiful as their flowers :-)

Sorry no name. It looks very similar to another phal I have, Phal Scarlet O'Brunzer x Baldan's Kaleidoscope. The flowers are smaller on Phal Scarlet.

Just an update, Shannon, this is the Scarlet O'Brunzer I mentioned that looks very similar. The flowers are several months old and have changed color alittle and they are smaller than on the NOID originally posted....

That's a beauty Doc. Enjoy them, and pictures will keep you going till next year. Move on down to Florida I still have new spikes on a couple of my phals. Others are still holding their blooms from at least 2 months ago. Can't remember when the last bloom faded last year.

Doc there is always another truck pulling up to the nursery for you to hijack 'chids off of. No worries. That phal is a beauty! Love that color. Carol
