Barbara Baldan's Mandarin seedling first bloom

I purchased two seedlings from the Baldan's last fall and was told they had never bloomed before and could turn out to be any color between peach and red. The first one just opened four flowers in the last few weeks so here it is!

The other one should open flowers in about two weeks. It's always fun to have a surprize!

Well the second seedling has had open flowers for about a week now but I've been pretty busy graduating from college so I didn't get a chance to post until now.


The second photo includes all three seedlings that I own from this grex. Amazing to think they are all from the same pod... then again, I don't look much like my sister either.
