Dtps. Confetti Burst 'Pine Ridge' AM/AOS - time to update your tags!
Hey Folks,
I have some great news! 
I exhibited my Dtps. Confetti Burst 'Pine Ridge' HCC/AOS at my local orchid society show here in Naples last March, and the AOS judges decided to upgrade the status of the award to an AM, so now it is Dtps. Confetti Burst 'Pine Ridge' AM/AOS!!!  I am really jazzed about this one because they don't too often upgrade award status on plants.
I waited till now to make my post because I was waiting for all of the buds to open. The whole plant photo was taken today. The close-up is a copy of the official AOS photo taken on judging day at the show.
Anyone who has this clone in their collection should update their tags to reflect the new award status.  |

Hi Everyone...I really appreciate your comments.
Here's a little info regarding the awards this clone has received. The original HCC was given to a plant with 8 flowers, 9.0 x 7.6 cm.
When my plant received its AM, it had 8 blooms and 20 buds, with bloom measurements of 9.2 x 8.1cm. The photo above has all 28 blooms open. |
