Yvan. I feel sorry for you. Fancy being lumbered with such a horrible thing. Mail it over to me and I will guarantee you will never be bothered with it again.
Your new best friend,
Baz in Oz

Wow, great story Yvan. It's a wonderful looking Phal and looks very like Baldan's Kaleidoscope to me as well.
A great way to celebrate your recent union. Congratuations

That is just toooooo funny!
First, congratulations of the formalization of your partnership!
Second, yep, that's a Baldan's K. they get huge!!
Mine has a 26" leaf span and 12 blossom with 9 buds to go. Unfortunately it's not as tall! I wish it was, it would show the flowers off better.
Take good care of it, it will remind you of good friends and an important step in your lives for a very long time.
Al

Thanks to y'all for the congrats! We've been together for about 9.5 years now, so it kinda just made sense.
Terri...all I have to say is, yep—you got it!
Baz...if it tries to eat me and takes off my hand or something, I'll let my bf know where to send it.
Al...thanks also for the ID confirmation!

Kiki...I believe the name of the place it came from was "Pro Flowers". I didn't poke around too much, because I really really don't want to find out how much they spent on it, but I did find a likely website: Send Mother's Day Flowers ? ProFlowersŪ Official Site
