I am not sure what a large bloom size is Evan but I measured a few blooms and they are close to 4 inches wide.

I'd call that large. Just wondering because the biggest phals (flowers usually 5-6 inches across) have far fewer blooms than yours, at least from what I've seen. They're nice, but I think I'd prefer one like yours, a perfect balance between very respectable bloom size and astounding quantity!

Thanks Evan
I just think it is sooo nice to look at. I have had such a good experience with this plant, now I am hooked. I would like to add to my collection. I think the room must be perfect for Phals. I have not had to put a lot of effort in to it rebloom a second year. Even now, I can see some small nodes waiting to take off on two spikes. So I think I may see flowers once again through the summer. I wish I knew what kind it was.

I have a white phal that just opened a few days ago . I swear that while it was opening it grew wider from petal to petal . Out of curiosity I decided to measure it . It measured at just over 4" across . I think if you have large blooms like that , you have less blooms .

I know what you mean Chips. My first orchid was a rescuee white phal. After that I was hooked.
Mine has 5-6 inch blooms, but I've only gotten 4 at a time open on it. The first time it bloomed for me, it had 8 or more buds, but I moved it to a different spot to enjoy the flowers, and half the buds blasted. Since then I don't move it at all once it starts forming buds. The second time it bloomed for me was a secondary spike from the old spike, and those usually aren't as strong, so it only had 4 blooms again. It had a few more buds on that spike, but they didn't develop very far. Also, I had to leave it in my parents' care while I went to college, and they still need to get the hang of things. My poor phal and most of my other plants were shamefully dry the first time I came home for a vacation. I trimmed that spike, so hopefully it will produce a strong new spike from the base that will have more blooms.

Very nice....
My phal amabilis decided to show off a bit this season. They are clumped together 4 to 5 plants with 10 spikes with a side branch, with maybe about 100 flowers. I lost my count. Faithful bloomer during rainy season.
