Phal (Salu Super Star x Dou-dii Super Star)
This one surprised me with a little peloric flare. Looks cool against the spots.

Can't wait to see what they look like. I love the green/pink color contrast and like you said, the peloric petals is a fabulous contrast with the spots.
How did you come across this cross - is it one that you made?

Pretty! Me too, I also think that those petals go really well with the spots. I think it's one of the nicest wanna be pelorics I've seen. It would be nice if the entire spike was peloric and stayed peloric.
And for some reason the Dou-dii in the name makes me laugh. Sounds so silly!

What a lovely flower, despite the unfortunate name!

Hahaha! Camille, I noticed that in another hybrid's name and couldn't stop laughing about it.
This flower is downright trippy! I love it! Hope all the flowers turn out that way. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

LOL, it was probably my Dou-dii Pearl which has a similar coloration to yours Royal, but is lacking the peloric form. It will be interesting to see if it maintains the peloria in subsequent bloomings.
Here's my Dou-dii Pearl. Stop laughing Evan!

Well, at least neither one lives up to that part of it's name
quite the opposite, both are fantastic!
