Great coloration on these. Is this a Phal species that needs a cold rest to bloom?

They're both gorgeous! It's great that they are so different. I'm leaning more and more towards getting one (or 6) or these little cuties.

Hmmm, and I do need to fill up my order on that buy 5 get 1 free deal.....

Thanks again folks

I do nothing special to prime these into bloom, or for any other of my phals.
Theres nothing wrong with having a couple of these, its fun to compare. They are wonderful growers.
BTW -- Both are fragrant, but not all spikes will be

Great color, indeed. I would have liked mine to be a bit darker as your is. Great plant though, it's been blooming since January and is still pushing new flowers out. I'm hooked.

Gloria

My favorite equestris so far, and fragrant too.
Can you recall where you got it?

Just beautiful, Gloria. Mine is also in spike, and it will be the first for me.

I got them both from different places in Canada. Clouds orchids et Paramount orchids. The deeper colored one is from clouds.
