Default Phal. Brother Spot 'Sweet'

I've had this Phal for over a year and finally got it to bloom. It was worth the wait - only one spike but with a nice branch on it.

The bloom is very waxy and shiny with a nice fragrance. Yes, definitely worth the wait.

Another purchase from Big Leaf.

Brooke

Thanks everyone!

Orchidtess I love the shape of this bloom and I know it is because it reminds me so much of a pulchra bloom. I should look up the pedigree but never get around to it. I do like the big round blooms but my Phal heart really belongs to species and primary hybrids.

Yes John, Peter Lin is evil - he keeps a supply of Phals available which makes me send money to him. He must have cast a spell over me

I love the waxy dark red look of this flower, but them I'm always a fan of the dark red ones.
