White Phal producing a new leaf

the roots look like they've shrunk, and a couple of the leaves look like they're starting to get wrinkled. judging by the condition of the roots, I would expect it to get worse before it gets better. once it starts growing new roots, it should get better.

Thanks for your reply. I kind of rescued this plant and it is much healthier than it was a month or two ago. Its former primary caregiver (ssssssshhhhhhhhhhh my wife) didn't water it for some time and I noticed it likely just before certain dearh. The smallest leaf was shrivelled up badly and looked like it would fall off and the others beginning to look the same. It is doing quite well now, look better by the week.The root system under the plant in the pot is quite healthy now, there is a number of large new roots.
