Default I've gone Phal crazy...again

OK, I'm going to try not to bore you all anymore with yet another thread on my Phals.....after this one. I've gone a little Phal crazy lately, I'm on a Phal frenzy....it's springtime...they're everywhere I go. It's like the slot machines in Vegas....everywhere.

So here's what's going on with my inventory...

7 in spike, about to bloom
15 blooming
1 with a rotted spike, cut down
9 just sitting there, waiting for warmer temps
7 newbies, all bought within the last 2 weeks

and, newbie #8 (below) that I saw, picked up, put down a few days ago but decided I wanted it. The spike is short and fits perfectly on one of the smaller shelf's where I'm growing these.

NO MORE PHALS for a while, is what I said to myself after buying this one. So, when I got home today, I ordered a Baptistonia Echinata aka the bumble-bee orchid.

I would have brought that phal home too! It sounds like you've got blooming 'chids like crazy. That's great, and you're certainly not boring me

Agreed. Good thing you went back for that one. It's a real beauty! Love the coloring. And the shading of the lip is really nice.

Very nice yellow phal. Is it a NOID or does it have a name? Either way I'd have grabbed it too....But you beat me to it, and I'd have a heck of a time getting it home safely. The customs officers would want it for their desks, and I'd have to fight them for it, then I'd be in really big trouble...

Now, that's a nice phal! You guys in the urban areas are so lucky. My grocery store has one dried up Boston Fern and an Hibiscus that has been there since last July.........I.E., a pot of sticks!

I love your newest phal! The spike is so short on it.

It all depends on your definition of 'a while' !
