What a bunch of beautiful phals you have there Doc!

You have such a nice variety of colors, I'm very jealous of your collection! Seeing your pics does brighten this cold windy day. Picturing you with a safety rope making your way out to the GH is pretty funny too!

I have to ask, do get your phals from one source in particular or have you just collected them from all different places over the years?

Sarah, I used to get most o them from English Gardens from their "almost to the dumpster" table for a dollar. It took about 2 yrs for them to realize that in a retail business it is more cost-effective to write off their cost rather than sell it to me for a buck! My loss... so now I look at what is available at Costco from time to time as well as Lowes. When I visit family in Chicago, the Home Depot has some great buys because there are seveal growers within 30 to 40 miles of the city. I've also brought stuff back from Florida...again Home Depot and I met someone who has a large GH and sells for a very reasonable cost.

Thanks, Doc. I love Taida Salu, really beautiful. I have 'Alisan', shows kind of turkey red. But that 'Morning Star' of yours is brilliant.

I also have Alisan, but it didn't spike for me this year...don't know why./.. I was ging to get rid of one of them because they looked the same to me...then again for all I know somebody switchd tags and, in fact, I have two of the same thing!!!!!
