$5.00 Bargain Beautiful Phal
On my way home yesterday, I dropped by this little nursery/vegetable farm to see if they had gotten in any Hoya plants that I'm looking for to send to a friend in Oregon. They haven't gotten them in yet but on my way out, saw this little cutie that I fell for, big time. My camera won't cooperate and I'm not able to capture the true color. Imagine intense fuchsia/purple, mixed. And the best part...I see 2 tiny spikes beginning. $5.00!!

Sweet deal!!! For $5, you only got one phal? I would have grabbed an armful!
Seriously though, that's a great find. I love phals with those colors, especially with the waxy texture. I would give anything to have one of those! I have yet to come across one.

Ethan, when I first saw it, I thought, "sogo grape" but it's not. The color on this is an intense fuchsia/purple...similar but no dice...not complaining though!

That color does look intense, and I really like the waxy texture and substance of the flower. Nice find BTW.
take a look at this one, Phal Sogo Cock 'Joy' GM/WOC 2005 - Big Leaf Orchids is the color close...
