Default Phalaenopsis amabilis 'Variegated'

The variegated leaves on this Phalaenopsis amabilis make it very unique. The plant blooms profusely and frequently throws off aerial keikis. The keikis will bloom on the mother plant if left alone. The first photo shows the leaves and aerial keikis. The second photo shows the flowers.

That is so beautiful. I have never seen it before. The picture makes me want one. I think it is time to search for one.

Hi Marilyn,
Big Leaf Orchids has this. If memory serves me correctly it is reasonably priced too!

{EDIT}
Sorry for my mistake, the one at Big Leaf is Phal aphrodite subsp. formosana. Just can't trust the memory any more!

Very unique indeed!! Nice visual effect!! By the photo, it seems that the variegation does not interfere on the good overall plant development! Very nice!!

It's gorgeous!! You second pic is exceptionally nice, I like the cascade of white blooms against the variegated leaves. I wish variegated phals were more readily available, they add a nice touch of color. I would love to have one (or several) of these!

Wow, that's really beautiful! I've never seen one variegated like that before. I knew they were out there, and have seen couple pics, but nothing as dramatic as that!
