I'm not sure this is considered a peloric?
I remember having this explained that it's one of the 'other' oddities that sometimes occur in the development of the buds...as if 2 potential separate buds, merge while forming. A bad analogy but like, Siamese twins? As well, aren't peloric growths consistent on a spike and not random? It's just this one flower, not the entire spike, correct?
It's just one of the curious oddities that happen. Keeps things interesting! This Phal is a beauty, brewmyster...great find!
This happened to my Miltassia Shelob, just once, on one spike and never again afterwards. Here's a pic for reference....
The first pic is the alien, fused bloom, the second, a normal looking bloom for comparison.
