Default Phalaenopsis schilleriana ???

Oh my goodness. This has to be one of the most stunning Phal. orchids I've ever seen!

Does anyone know where I may get one in Canada? All the U.S. places I've talked to don't export because of the difficulty with customs, etc.

Paramount Orchids in Calgary. Very good grower, one of the best!! Also Forest View Gardens I believe as well.

I picked up a few Phal species from them this past weekend at my local society show. They were seedlings, but are in very good shape. I also picked up some of thier Paph species which were all very nice seedlings.
Paramount is one of my faves though, they have a very extensive selection and Bryon and Chuck are some of the most knowledgable growers I have ever met.

That's fantastic! I just hopped over to their website, and I couldn't find this Phal. listed, so I emailed them to see if perhaps they have it in stock and I missed it. They do seem a bit more expensive than ForestView, though. I haven't been able to find any growers in Ontario that carry this plant!!

You might want to wait a little bit because vendors usually have new listings in spring. I'm sure I've seen it for sale on Cloud's website (one of the best vendors in Canada) and Orchid's in our Tropics. I have 2 young ones in bloom right now and they are very elegant

P. schilleriana is a real beauty. The one in the picture is a fairly mature plant, judging by the number of flowers. At any rate, if you can find one up there in the Great White North, grab it!

I just put in an order with Cloud's - I love them! They have a fantastic selection and they're super helpful. Not to mention the price is right! I just emailed Warren from Cloud's to see if they have, or will have any in stock. Crossing fingers!!!

Indeed!
I find it's when I want something most that it's the hardest to find!

I would love to see a P. schilleriana grow up I've seen tonnes of photos where they have dozens of blooms...it's stunning! I'm just picturing one in my bedroom, hahaha

I just got word from Paramount...shipping is in excess of $22! Unfortunately, my meager university student budget doesn't allow such frivolities

I wish!!
