Thanks Ronald and Snow! Would putting it in filtered sunlight stall the bud growth? [it doesnt get any light on the floor by the florescents] I'll also keep the same orientation of the spike

sorry, that sounded redundant [on my part lol] I did put it in fairly bright filtered light, and she seems to like it! Thanks to all for your advice!!)
