Default New Noid Phal from Wal-Mart

Couldn't help myself yesterday while in Wal-Mart. I saw the orchids on display "Just 3 Ice Cubes" I saw a new color I didn't have soooooo I bought it. They had quite a few but most were colors I had.
Do the flowers look odd to any of you? Most look like the pictures.
check it out any idea of its name???

Sheridan

Sorry no Idea on the name. But it's a really nice colour & I can see why you chose it!!!!!
I bought one last summer where the flowers were exactly like this (half open) and I thought oh wow they'll soon open up ... well ...they didn't and stayed like that (for a few months, before wilting...) I hope mine open up fully next time round...Keep us posted if yours end up opening or not?

Sheridan that's the way those flowers are supposed to look. They are peloric. That means that the petals have morphed into mimicing the lip. Pretty color!

Very nice color. I have this peloric type too, different color, its in bud again, and if yours is like mine they will last and last and last. The last show was over 6 months.

Sheridan,
Nice art shade and the plant in the last picture is very healthy looking. Good selection. Keep us posted on the new blossoms.

Thanks Teri, Phearamedusa & Mike for the kind comments. I think I have another Peloric cause the petals never really opened up very much. This new one in the photo's has 3 spikes I went through all of them and I think I picked the best one ..
