Phal equestris 'alba'
I'm SO excited! This one came in yesterday's mail...ordered from Baldan's Orchids through their ebay store. It was supposedly "in spike" so imagine my happy dance when I opened the box and found this one in bloom with lots of buds and a second spike growing happily!
Phal equestris is kind of an addiction within my addiction!

It's a beauty! I am going to go check out their website to see if they have any more! I have purchased from them and have always been very happy!

I actually bought my first equestris from them on my trip to Redlands in '05. It was a keiki and I really knew nothing at that point but fell in love with the plant...and the rest is history

I also bought an equestris alba from Baldans over the summer. It was a small keiki, so I figured I'd have to wait at least a year or two for blooms. Not so: it's currently sporting four flowers, with six more buds! Equestris are strong little buggers.
