What a little beauty, I adore the look of phal. equestris and saw one the other day and have wanted one since but I am new to orchids and I read they are hard to keep that they need more than an average house position, I will have to do some more reading on them as they truly are gorgeous.

I'm not sure how different house conditions would be for you across the pond, but equestris seems to be quite an easy one to keep. Mine is mounted, but I'm sure it would be just as easy potted too (and less often for watering). I don't do anything special for it.

Thats good to know I saw pictures of the different varieties and I loved them all maybe I can have one sometime soon, I think I read about them being mounted and thats what worried me I am just learning how to keep them in pots at the moment. Thank you for your reply
