Hi herf, I can't quite make the pic out enough to call it one way or the other. First, how are the roots? Second, what happened to it, cold hit it? The long story short was a little too short.

Looks like a really bad case of frostbite to me. Put it in a warm spot with lower light and cross your fingers. Oh, and leave negative feedback!!

Please, only consider leaving negative feedback if it was the seller's fault, and you have tried to find another solution. Once the package leaves their hands, they have no control as to how the shipper treats the package.

All I can say ... is keep it in a moderately warm place, good humidity and free flowing air movement, try to get the base of the plant to produce some roots- i'd get some kln ASAP and some sphag moss- and pray that it will push new leaves and roots...
If it doesnt make it, dont feel bad, it is in pretty crappy condition.
You should leave double negative feedback, one for sending a POS plant and another for being rude and not willing to resolve the issue!

I'm sorry it didn't make it! Have you tried to contact the seller and explain what happened? I would hope they would work with you so you could get a healthy plant. Did they offer a heat pack?
