Your orchids pictured here are real beauties , I have at least one of each . But the third one pictured is a favorite that I have and is in bloom at the moment . For Valentines' Day last year , my husband bought me two beautiful orchids , not the ones pictured here , but they were in bloom for over 6 months . One of which is and has been in bloom again for quite some time now . Enjoy , it makes you feel so good.

Your new phals are beautiful and I'll take a stab at Id'ing them for you. I could be wrong but here's my guess.

#1. Baldan's Kaliedascope 'Golden Treasure'

#2. P. amabilis or a hybrid thereof

#3. P. Ever Spring Fairy 'Shan Pin'

All three of these are commonly found at big box stores.

Hope this is of some help. I have all three, purchased at Home Depot.

#2 came a tag that says Silibama 34584 did alittle research and didn't find much about them

#1 and #2 might be those that you suggested not sure...no tag came with them...

Thanks for the compliments also from other members im new to orchids so im learning as i go.

I have made some mistakes on #2 so all the flowers are wilting..that was my very first one...

Mistakes are OK as long as you learn from them...

They are raised by the zillions in Florida, then 'finished' at various growers around the country. I buy some of the same plants at one of our local suppliers for resale, just to fill out my table at shows (hard to bring people to the table with just tiny species orchids and jewels...).

Silbama is one of the names that I'm familiar with. You do probably have a Baldan's Kaleidoscope (clonal name might or might not be "Golden Treasure"), these have been mericloned by the millions. I'd really hate to put a name on the harlequin, there are so many that look that way. The wholesaler often doesn't put names on them.

If you look at the pot that those plants came in, there is often a name printed right on the pot. You should probably go with that name rather than any tag you see. Now, not all of those names are real names. Many don't appear in the RHS database. But those are the names they are sold by, so I guess that is as good as you can get.
