NOID Phal
I've had this Trader Joes noid for around ten years, and it has always been lovely, but I think this year it is especially nice.

Oh, Kim that is gorgeous!!! what a great job you've done growing it!
Now, how big does the plant part of a phal. get after 10 years? Do you have a pic of the whole plant? I'm just curious as my oldest phal that I haven't given crown rot to is less than 2 years old.

You did an outstanding job with it! I have also noticed from my phals that the older they get, the more spectacular their spikes are. Or maybe it's because my care of them gets better each year?

You are right. This yeas is very very nice!! Haven't seen the other years, I think, but this is one is undeniable.
Congrats. Love the pink.

Camille, I think it's a bit of both, not to mention all the help and advice I have found here at OB.
Ethan, this is not a big plant, I have some MUCH larger than this one. It's in a five inch pot. You kind of get the idea with this pic, I hope.

Wow, Kim! that's still a big plant! Looks like 10 leaves...one for each year??
I can't imagine your larger ones...Now that I've figured out how to prevent crown rot, I have something to look forward to. Thanks for sharing!!
