Sorry to mislead you, blackorchid, its not actually open yet others were like the blackbeauty phal. pictured, but tiny.
Michalea,
I contacted the grower here's what they had to say about this line of orchids.
"Hi Melanie,
Thank you for your comments.
We have just started this new line of mini phalaenopsis, and they are in fact so bran new that they have not been named yet. If you send me a picture of the one you bought I could check to see under which number (ID) it came and then give you a name when it is baptized.
Best regards… keep on loving orchids and all other plants…
Pascale

My comments: "I recently purchased this orchids from Sobey's in Windsor Ontario, Canada. The upc code looks like 7 73586 05555 8. The top line says Mini Orchids (2). I was curious to know the cultivar name, for example Via Loch Reposo ‘Pixie Gold’ is a cymbidium orchid. Its parents are Via Reposo x Loch Lomond. If you want to make orchid hobbyists really happy with your product include the name tags, since a lot of us won't buy plants that we can't "show" at society meetings because they are noids (no ids). Without name tags, we have to guess as to what an orchid might be, and what the best conditions are to get them to re-flower and thrive in our care.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Melanie"
So take a picture of yours in flower and where you bought it, and send it into them. Then you will have a named orchid instead of a noid...

Maybe if enough of us send then emails they will take the tag comment seriously.
