Default Phal seedling with upside down leaf

I have just acquired a Phal violacea seedling (about 10cm wide). The newest leaf is upside down. Should I gradually train it to be the right way, or will it flip by itself?

Cheers,

Deb

Dear Deb,
the leaf grow normally follow the sunlight. If it getting very low light it will grow to an akward position searching the light source. Just position it into the right direction if you wish it growing up.

When I receive a phal with a leaf that is turned over, I use a piece of masking tape and gently tape it to the side of the pot in the correct position.

Eventually the leaf will straighten to a normal position and you can remove the tape. Masking tape will not tear even a thin leaf.
