Phal. Baldans Kaleidoscope
A sturdy plant, big healthy leaves. It blooms consistently. Probably around 3 times a year or so.
I took the pic cause I just got a new camera.
Enjoy.
Some more pics, updated, 1/5/09

Nice looking chid. Just wish that we could buy pretty ones in the UK without having to pay the earth for them.

I had no idea that Phals flowered more than once a year!! I have been growing them for about 6 years and mine only flower once a year, maybe twice if I cut the spike above the 2nd node.
Is it the particular species that makes them flower multiple times or are you doing something special??

I think it has a lot to do with the species, cross, hyrbid, etc... I don't do anything special to this one at all. I also never cut the spikes, period, unless they are totally brown and have the consistency of straw.

Looks a bit different. In the world of hybrid orchids, yours might be different enough to be something else. Yours seems a bit paler than mine and the lip patterns seem a bit different. But I really don't know, could be the camera u are using.
