Wow, I didn't know that they bloomed at this time of year. Mine bloomed throughout the summer and into fall. Your plant looks very happy and should bloom for you for a long time because the spike keeps elongating.

Its true they are such cuties! Interesting orchids to grow - seems they're always doing something.

My Phal. (there are phals now, not doritis) pulcherrima var. chumpornensis blooms in mid to late summer. It is interesting to see when they bloom in the different parts of the world.

That bloom is so cute, Jackie! My little seedlings are labelled Doritis pulcherrima var. chumpornensis. Very confusing! Are these and Brooke's plants all different?? Perhaps one of our experts can clarify this for me, please? I've got several years yet before I'll see what mine look like, if they survive!
