Hummm, no i don't remember that you bought two, but I can't say I am surprised! Were they the same size to begin with, both purchased bare root? Mine seems to be coming along very nicely, but I am jealous about the spike! Is this one the regular Phal. violacea or the phal. voilocea var. 'borneo'? Mine is the var. 'borneo' which i hvae been told since is actually Phal. bellina. Anyway, I was wondering if I got a totally different batch since I went a day later than you. I just need to come over and see whatcha got!
