The spike originally died at the tip for some reason. As soon as I noticed it was turning brown and not …um…. bud-ing…. I cut it back to the next node and waited patiently, it finally continued the spike until buds formed. It has that one bloom and one bud next to it but unfortunately it looks as though those will be the only two we have this time around
