Default Phal Spica 'Jemmco'

I was watering some plants today and found a surprise. This is Phal Spica 'Jemmco' (Phal fasciata x Phal lueddemanniana) a primary hybrid. It has flowered this year on 'old' spikes. But this new spike had grown unnoticed under a leaf. The sun was setting but i turned the pot upside down, held the leaf back a little and ... viola ! Flower has a ns of 2 inches, noticebly larger than the previous flowers this summer.

Wow, nice Phal. I am really getting a taste for these leudemannia types. The lip is impressive. Is there any scent?

Very nice surprise Charlie. Looks real good and it must be fragrant?

Charlie,

Well done! I love surprises like this one, and appreciate your post!

I'm curious like others if it has a nice fragrance or not.
