Phal. Luchia lips sogo smith
The 5.00 dollar Phals. are back at my Home Depot. Some how this one found it way into my cart. The colors are much better in person. There is a white edge around the outside of the pedals which contrast beautifully with the medium/dark purple and the Very dark purple lip makes it pop. The first picture is a better repesentation of the real color. The pictures don't do it any justice. One of my new favorites. The real bonus is there is a new growth too!

It's a beauty!
For those whom may look for it by name (for purchasing reasons)
I believe it's Phal Luchia Lip X Dtps Sogo Smith ..
I found those in the RHS registry ...

Thanks D. That makes sense because the flower is small like the other Dtps's I have. I have to say that the vendor that supplies HD with orchids don't care much about proper names and tags, most just say Phal, Den, or Dtps with no other ID.

Dave,
Congrats on your new chid! I love the colors and the details in the second photo.
Which HD do you go to? Is it east or west of SR29? If it's west, I may have to pay them a visit.

The HD I got this one at is at the Oakwood Store near I-95 and Striling Rd. Hollywood. But I have seen them at many of the HD's on the east coast
