Thanks all
I wish I could get a better photo of the color of the pulchra, I try some other settings later. But it's got some candy apple red, high-glossy blossoms.
I did get this online, not much around here as far as orchids.
I heard from some others that it has a slight fruity scent, I haven't notice any scent on mine. I'm not bothered by that at all, the blooms are so pretty.
This is an easy grower, that likes to toss out keikis like the equestris.
Snow, My wish list is longer then my grow list!
Thank you for all the nice comments everyone
Go get one ......

So I took a couple of other pics, pretty hard one to shoot, tough color to grab onto.
Anyways ... The color is more like the first photo a bit deeper in color and the second has the reddish hue I was talking about. It's somewhere in between the 2 shots, best I could do guys.
I thought the link that D left from 'santa barbara' was pretty good. I would still say it's a bit deeper in purple color though, guess you have to see it with your own eyes

Snow, the last time I talked to Paramount (about 3 weeks ago?), many of their Phal pulchra are in spike!!
Nice flowers Gloria! I agree, the color of the Phal pulchra is really hard to capture correctly. It is just a funny coincident that I have the exact same species in bloom right now on the west coast!

I agree with you snow, Very pretty color. You should get one, Got mine from paramount.
Jorch, I didn't see any photo anywhere
Hi Al, I don't know the size of your leaf span is, but these guys flower fairly small in size - dosen't have to be a honker to bloom. These guys light it bright.
Jorch, any scent wit your blooms??
